The first day of your unique experience takes you on a spectacular guided tour of Muckross Estate and Gardens in the heart of Killarney National Park.
Our magical journey takes in Muckross Abbey and Lake, Torc Waterfall, ancient woodlands and finally a visit to Muckross gardens. Enjoy majestic and unparalleled views of the Lakes of Killarney and its surrounding mountains. Equally, learn about the geological makeup of this region and why this estate is so significant along with other fantastic myths and legends for an experience you will never forget.
Later that afternoon, you can explore Killarney, have dinner and if you aren’t too tired, a night of music in the heart of vibrant town.
NB* You can also upgrade to our guided hike of Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain, which is available every Saturday. The upgrade cost is €25 per person. Carrauntoohil Guided Hike is suitable for children aged 10+ with a moderate to high level of fitness.
On day two, your adventure is a spectacular kayak tour on the Lakes of Killarney. You can choose from the listed options below and later that afternoon you can either relax, wander through Killarney’s ambient streets or explore the amazing history of Killarney National Park. before we say a fond farewell.
Option 1: Innisfallen Kayak Tour 9:30am-12:00pm
If you are an early riser and wish to explore Killarney in the afternoon, then we have the perfect mesmerizing kayak tour for you.
Our Innisfallen kayak tour will let you experience the unique beauty of Innisfallen Island and its rich history and wildlife diversity.With every turn your heart will be captured with dramatic scenery of mountains that rise from the lakes shores, majestic ancient woodlands and crystal clear waters, as we journey out towards the spellbinding Innisfallen Island, home to a 6th Century Abbey and wild Sika deer. We will discover the island and lakes many hidden secrets of past and present before making our way back towards Ross Castle. An adventure experience not to be missed!!
Option 2: Ross Castle Kayak Tour 1:00pm-3:00pm
Our Ross Castle Kayak Tour is a gentle kayak experience exploring the incredible history of Ross Castle and experiencing the lake’s unique wild nature.
This spectacular kayak tour is the best way to experience the Lakes of Killarney and offers you a real unique insight into the historical importance of Ross Castle. We will also delve into how its surrounding landscape was formed and observe its beautiful nature close at hand.
That afternoon, you can either relax, wander through Killarney’s ambient streets or explore the amazing history of Killarney National Park by bicycle before return to Killarney where we say a fond farewell and hope that one day we shall meet each other again on this small island, that is now forever your home away from home.
